Thank you for shopping at Thrift Resource. We specialize in pre-owned, secondhand consumer products. Because every item has a unique history, we enforce a precise return protocol that satisfies both consumer rights and luxury authentication standards.

Return Window

You have exactly 14 days return window from the date your package was marked as “Delivered” by the shipping carrier to initiate a return request. Requests made after day 14 cannot be accommodated.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

How to Initiate a Return

Our support team will respond within 24 hours to provide you with the authorized return shipping address. Do not send items back to the address on your shipping box without prior authorization.

Return Eligibility & Item Condition Requirements

To prevent fraud and maintain the integrity of our pre-owned stock, items must meet the following strict conditions to qualify for a refund:

  • Security Tag Status: Every luxury bag leaves our facility with a unique, one-time use Thrift Resource Security Tag attached. If this security tag is broken, cut, tampered with, or removed, the return is completely void, and no refund will be issued.
  • Condition Match: The item must be returned in the exact “Used” / “Secondhand” condition it was received in. It must include all original packaging materials, dust bags, authenticity cards, and detachable straps that accompanied the original shipment.

Return Shipping Costs & Restocking Fees

Because we provide free shipping to our customers at checkout, the operational expenses for returns are shared:

  • Return Shipping Cost: The customer is fully responsible for arranging and paying for the return shipping label. We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service with shipping insurance, as Thrift Resource is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.
  • Restocking Fee: No Restocking Fee will be applied.

Refund Processing Time

Once your return package arrives at our facility, please allow 1 to 2 business days for our experts to inspect the bag and verify the security tag.

  • Approval: Once approved, we will process your refund immediately.
  • Credit Timeline: The refund will be automatically credited back to your original method of payment. Depending on your bank or credit card institution, it may take 4 to 5 business days for the funds to reflect on your statement.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items (Meets Description Mistake)

If you receive a bag that is fundamentally different from our website’s listed description or condition notes, please get in touch with us via Email or WhatsApp within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence. In instances where an operational mistake was made by us, the return shipping fees will be fully waived.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on final sale items or gift cards. Final sale items include clearance inventory clearly marked as non-returnable at the time of purchase, customized or personalized orders, and digital gift cards.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
